The below documents outline the rules and regulations we will have to follow in order to return to playing our great game this upcoming season. First and foremost are that all these directions are steadfast rules and must be adhered to by any persons as a condition of playing for the Wantirna South Cricket Club. Safety for all is our prime focus and we won’t allow that to be compromised for any of our members. Secondly if we are found to be breaking any of the outlined rules we will be found to be non-compliant which can lead to hefty fines and may risk the chance we’ve been afforded to play any cricket at all. Our COVID team has been working incredibly hard in developing our COVID safe plan, collating all the relevant rules and summarising them for you in the below documents. Please read and take in as to all be aware of your individual obligations.
We have also implemented the RDCA endorsed 1Breadcrumb app as our electronic sign in registry. This should make life easier for all when signing in and will provide better records for contract tracing should we need it.
View instructions on how to set up for 1Breadcrumb;
View how to log in to relevant grounds once your profile has been set up. Any further instruction or queries rest assured will be given or answered at the information session tomorrow night or by your COVID host on hand when you arrive at our facilities. These documents remain fluid and will be adjusted as such (and you notified) as the rules and regulations ease or increase. Lastly - here's the Cricket Victoria return to play document and other resources you may like to read.
Thank you all in advance for your co-operation. Together if we all pitch in I’m sure it won’t be that bad. The main thing will be celebrating the enjoyment and fun we get from playing cricket as a result.
Sam Barnes President Wantirna South Cricket Club
